The Texas Cyber Summit was organized and being run to help educate the masses, from introduction to cyber security, we call: Cyber0101, to the more Advanced and even Expert level training., you can learn to shore up your bad practices, and improve your Cyber Hygiene.
Resilience Week 2019 Symposium

Large disasters may ripple across cities, regions or even nationally through interconnected critical infrastructure systems. Right now, many of those connections are invisible, making it very difficult to put effective mitigation strategies in place. Critical links are often uncovered too late, causing greater impacts to infrastructure and challenging recovery efforts on the ground. Join us for the Resilience Week symposium to discuss how private and public partners can work together to ensure a secure and reliable flow of energy across the nation. Organized by Idaho National Laboratory.
Resilience Week Student Day & Job Fair

If you are interested in careers that transform the resilience of critical infrastructure systems and communities, come to the first ever Resilience Week Job fair from 8:00am-6:00pm on Nov.5th. Talk to representatives from organizations that conduct research and develop solutions to address the threats that impact our critical infrastructure. The Job Fair is open only to registered attendees of the Resilience Week 2019 conference; attendance is free for students on Tuesday only.
P3 Industry Day at UTSA

The University of Texas at San Antonio, in collaboration with WT Partnership, will be hosting a P3 Industry Day on September 10, 2019 to present information and gather feedback from developers and interested parties in anticipation of a forthcoming Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a combined National Security Collaboration Center (NSCC) and School of Data Science (SDS) facility in Downtown San Antonio. The NSCC/SDS will build a collaborative and impactful ecosystem engaging government, industry and academia to solve the nation’s greatest issues surrounding cybersecurity, data analytics and related academic programs.

UTSA, the San Antonio Military Health System (SAMHS) and UT Health San Antonio would like to invite you to the fifth annual SAMHS and Universities Research Forum (SURF), a regional event that highlights the latest research and discoveries of trainees, faculty, staff and students working to improve health outcomes.
Forum participants will have the opportunity to present and share innovations in research, practice, and policy; earn continuing education credits/units (e.g., CME, CNE, CDE); and connect with scholars and practitioners for future education, research, policy, and practice collaborations.

Faculty and students are invited to attend the Brown Bag Seminar series to listen to leading researchers from National Laboratories discuss their research in the Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Cyber Security. You are welcome to bring your lunch and listen to this noon-time seminar series. It is also a great opportunity for faculty to investigate possible collaboration with National Labs investigators.
